Brink System Requirements & Recommended Drivers

Before posting an issue, please ensure that your PC meets Brink’s system requirements:

Minimum Specs

[li]Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz or equivalent[/li][li]Memory: 2GB RAM[/li][li]Graphics: NVIDIA 8800GS / ATI Radeon HD 2900 Pro or equivalent*[/li][li]OS: Windows XP (SP3)/Vista/Windows 7**[/li][li]Hard Drive: 8GB of free space[/li][/ul]

  • Intel HD series onboard graphics is not officially supported
    ** Bootcamp for Apple products is not supported

Recommended Specs

  • Updated Nvidia driver link so that both desktop and laptop/notebook users reach the correct set of drivers
  • Owners of ‘M’-type (mobile) Nvidia graphics cards should consult the information provided on Nvidia’s VERDE driver page regarding suitability before updating. If their hardware manufacturer supports the latest drivers (with support for OpenGL 3.1), you should be able to run Brink.
  • Updated OS Minimum Requirement info to specify that Bootcamp for Apple products is not officially supported

- Clarification regarding Intel HD on-board graphics

Since Brink’s release, Intel has published drivers that do support OpenGL 3.1 for the HD 2000 and HD 3000 cards. Please note that while these chipsets may be able to run Brink, they are not officially supported. See http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ for the latest Intel HD drivers.
