Something tells me that games that has only women fighting in conflicts would be seen as a complete joke and people would STILL be complaining about games not taking women seriously.

Yeah I wouldn’t be taking it seriously because I couldn’t imagine a scenario where only females are fighting a war. With only males fighting a war however, I have no problem imagining that.

HOWEVER I wouldn’t feel personally offended or subordinated because of that game like people are now which is what amazes me the most in this whole female character issue. Why is it only female players that are being insulted here? This whole “I need to play the sex I am” thing is extremely odd.

MMm. So it’s unrealistic to expect a 100% female experience but not a 100% male one? Yeah, no woman would ever work in the police, army, resistance. Wow, do you ever leave your house?

Who’s offended or insulted? Seems to me people are just saying “WTF! Where is our contribution to this struggle on the Ark?” The arrogant dismissal of that question is more the issue here than the practicality behind it.

You might want to ask yourself that question. Women are a very tiny minority in all of those sectors, maybe in your day dreams but not in real life.

If they hardly contributing to or play a background role conflicts in real life then why do we have to expect them to be treated any different in a video game? If they want emancipation then they really need to reconsider their priorities.

Besides, you don’t give a damn about the position of women in video games either, other than the angle of the camera on their polygonal breasts that is.

Basically I would blame it more on the fact that women are the minority in games, rather than financial issues and time restraints. If more women played games in general, then I am sure that it would be an all female cast in games and the males would be complaining. It is obviously too late now to do anything, but in a game like Brink where your character is uniquely designed by you… some understanding is in order. Social games are the only ones who get equal attention, but I personally am not interested in playing those in the first place lol.

Not my fault you take it to heart and decide to repeat the same nonsense over and over again as if that’s helping… then resort to calling people ‘troll’ when you’ve ran out of any feasible evidence to say and just can’t let things be, that’s the sign of an idiot… and that was all your own doing, nothing to do with me.

But you know what, you can post the last reply on the subject and i’ll leave it be, cos well anything more on the issue at this point is a waste of both our times. Facts are there for all to see, and if you refuse to take them on board… then there’s no helping some people.

I feel like most people aren’t very constructive on this thread.

My idea, is like a better offline room mode. I heard whispering of up to four player offline with AI. That would be a great improvement over most game “couch modes.”

I really, really, really, really, REALLY want a cinema mode with free-cam.
(like the one in Halo 3)

Being a machinima maker, I see HUGE potential for machinima in this game, and a free-cam/cinema mode would definetly be a great addition.

Also, split-screen would be nice.

Demo feature to record replays most likely. Demo options to make movie making easier and less limited. Third party movie mod later on to make everything smooth as silk :slight_smile: (wish list).

for cosmetic items I’d like to see a ski mask or wrestling mask with a smiley face on it.

but mostly I’d love to be able to have MULTIPLE CHARACTERS, any word on this yet? Cause while this game does look cool, only being able to have one character means I can only experience the game one way at a time, which is LAME.

You can have multiple characters.
