Brink sound issue

i have just installed Brink and the sound is not working and i have my divers up to date … plz help

When does the sound not work?

Do you have the latest patches installed?

Have you turned on your speakers?

Brink doesnt like when you switch the output devices after launching, e.g. when you plug in your headphones.

i didnt plug in my headphones … and i have my speakers on and the sound doesnt work at all , not even when the game starts with the splash damage logo … but i dont know bout the patches …

See if BRINK requires an update via steam. Im sure someone on this forum could provide kmelkon here with a picture how to check if his .exe is up to patch?

But for what it’s worth, I would suggest a reinstall tho

it worked finally :smiley: … actually i needed to update the direct X … thnx alot
