Apparently (for me at the very least) on Steam it reads that BRINK will unlock on the 12th of May, instead of the 10th. Can I get confirmation from other members?
BRINK Release in Steam
To hijack the topic, since I bought it from the US steam store but I don’t live in the US, will it unlock on the 12th or 10th?
To hijack this topic a bit more(sorry). Since there will probably be a pre-load on Steam, do people that bought the game through D2D, also get to pre-load?. Will they give us the key earlier?
yeah, i’m from argentina and it says it’s released the 12th, i wont be able to play 'till friday so i don’t mind
Nice, I’m from Argentina too. Hopefully when it’s launched we’ll be able to play together. What’s your ID?
Here we go again with another post count addition…It has been discussed to death and it works fine getting a game from the US to an EU account holder (via gift system) and the game will release on the release date of the person who gifted you, I have done this many times with friends before anyone asks.
You didnt understand the question. This is about D2D, not Steam. Also, I’m better off asking here since I have yet to see anyone from SD visit the Brink forums over there. Maybe here I might get an answer faster.
No I did understand the question. You’re better off asking on the Steam forums since there’s probably plenty of people who have bought releases on D2D there who would be better fit to answer your question. SD has no control over how third party software works.
The origin of the key determines everything with Steam.
If the Key is bought in the US then you will get the US unlock time irrespective of where you are when you are playing it. The key is all that matters.

Hello,Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
The release date is determined by the region where you are physically located and is not tied to the version of the game you purchased. The publisher or developer of the title determines the release date for their games. Please refer to the Steam Storepage for this title to determine the release date in your region.
Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
