Q: Medics instant revive?

Q: Weapon spread similar to ETQW? ( a cone spread, 3 burst shot accurate, gets more random when holding down fire)

Will there be a couch co-op?
I mean it would sucks if you have to watch and can’t play because you didn’t buy 2 consoles, 2 tv’s and 2 versions of the game.

If so will that character lvl and be customizable too?

Will there also be the 3rd person view option?
It would be cool to see your character jumping through the air (since you customize the look of them) instead of just watching other people characters.

I got a question. In BFBC2 the updates are unified. A single patch changes all platforms. This wouldn’t be a problem except the different playstyles mean they have very different needs. Will the co-development of the three platforms lead to simultaneous patchign and “one size doesn’t quite fit all” approach to balancing?

doubtful you’ll have an enemy blocking a doorway, just shoot him, although it would give a disguised operative a bunch of new opportunities for flanking

TF2 has player collisions between different teams.

Eh, I suspect it’ll lead to weird stuff with melee and close combat but w/e. Not a big deal.

You can only go through ur team mates in tf2, not ur enemies.

If an enemy is trying to block you, u can always headshot the fool. :wink:

i don’t really know much about the mechanics of video games but instead of spawn times i don’t understand why online games don’t simply spawn you further away from the action as opposed to making you wait and then spawn closer. (unless the game wants to encourage waves which with brink being a team game seems pretty likely).
I personally would rather spend my gaming time moving closer to the action rather than waiting in a boring respawn screen. I think that this would encourage flanking as well as giving you a chance to enjoy the SMART button as well as the maps.

crazyfoolish, the best answer to your question has to be “it just works!”. Keep in mind that the respawn timer runs independent from your actions. You don’t have to wait for 20 seconds everytime you die, only if you are unlucky. With a bit of practice you learn to dive into action in the right moments.

There have been some hints at more things you can do while waiting for a medic or a respawn. We’ll see what the SD team has come up with.

The spawn system allows you to spectate your team mates as they are playing, so its not like youre stuck on a blank screen. You can use this time to change class, or even gather a bit of info for your next approach.

Also it increases the chance of spawn camping in a system where you spawn the moment you die.

I don’t think you can do that in BRINK, you’ll have to stick to a command post to do such a thing from what i’ve read.
