Brink Playable at PAX East Next Week

The Penny Arcade Expo’s easterly cousin PAX East gets underway next week in Boston, and we’ll be there with a playable version of Brink in tow. Attendees will get to play a new level, Security Tower, which sees desperate Resistance fighters attempting to break one of their own out of the Security’s main headquarters on the Ark. It’s a ton of fun to play and we think you’ll like it.
PAX East kicks off next Friday and runs through Sunday, March 13, and takes place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. For more information, hit the PAX website. We’ll have more details to share next week!

The Jolly/Rahdo vid was great! Rahdo is always full of enthusiasm, and Jolly was doing his best to do as he was told, and at the same time, look like he had mad skillz. Lots of fun - and, of course, it was actual in-game footage.

I’m looking forward to SD demoing m+kb controls and gameplay speed with a PC HUD that doesn’t have the huge onscreen console control layout.

Since when is the HUD any different on consoles, excepting maybe when it shows you which button to use to reload?

Loading screens aren’t part of the HUD.

Probably since when they put a (console l4d style) dpad at the bottom of the screen that includes information that can be cut or greatly streamlined for m+kb players.
