Brink PC Dying without SDK

I have started to notice a sudden drop in the number of servers available. On Monday there was around 1200 servers, on Tuesday ( day after patch ) there was around 997 servers and now on Thursday there is 567 servers.

The number of servers are dropping like flies and I think one of the main problems with this is lack of SDK. When will it be coming. I also think they are dropping because of the bugs currently in the game.

I love the game but the rate things are going, I cant see this game being alive within a month. After the ESL league I reckon loads of teams are going to quit.

weren’t they released a few days ago, i mean yesturday and Tuesday. there were more servers than today.

…I don’t think the numbers are dropping because of lack of SDK. That sounds pretty silly. An SDK, I think, would only serve to keep the player base more stable. On the other hand, lots of people didn’t use ETQW’s SDK, even though it was pretty well documented in some case.

I loved the ETQW SDK. Hope Brinks will be just as good.

It’s an important concern, we all know how COD failed because of the lack of SDK. Hardly anyone is playing these games anymore.

COD doesn’t need to release an SDK as they mod the game themselves and sell it as a new copy

I honestly woudln’t worry about a SDK, unless Bethesda doesn’t allow SD to release the SDK they will. The usually just polish the sdk a bit for release. In this case though, it’s possible they wait till after all the dlc has been released :slight_smile:

I could really care less about SDk at the moment!
