Definitely upvoting. I’ve been a little bit disappointed in Reddit with no Brink coverage…

The plot outlined in the trailer seems a bit shallow too: Group A wants to leave the city. Group B wants to save the city from Group A… What? Why not just let Group A leave the city? Problem solved. Am I missing something?

I have to agree. The storyline would be more believable if both wanted to stay.

Except that we don’t know exactly what the story is, since we’re not playing it…

Well, not for another 9 hours and 38 minutes, that is.

'cause they want them to do the hard work on the island so they can keep drinking their piña coladas duh

But the Ark has never been designed for so many people. It was there just to support the residents.

There is a subreddit for brink that defiantly should have some more followers.

And if i remember correctly the reason they are fighting is because there are only enough resources to do one of the things. Resistance want to use them to find land. Security wants to save them to make the ark last as long as possible. Resulting in conflict.

Oh I can buy that.

ding ding ding

The story is a little more complex, Resistance has this notion that they can escape, while Security knows something about the mainland, which has to do with why the moved the ark in the first place. (Coming from the actual game, not speculation)

I hope it’s not a Shimalayan twist at the end.
