The Writers’ Guild of Great Britain has just announced the shortlist for this year’s Guild Awards and we couldn’t be more delighted to see Brink among the nominees. The awards are given out annually and seek to honour achievement in writing across all major mediums, including TV, radio, and video games. The winners will be announced on November 16 - in the meantime, let’s all throw confetti at Lead Writer Ed ‘Bongoboy’ Stern!

The premise of Brink is fantastic and it’s been commented upon in other sites and forums that it helps to set the basis for a very rich world. Hopefully we will see it expanded upon, beyond the realms of The Ark and those that inhabit it.

Congratulations on the nomination. I’m still raking up a few hours here and there with Brink so I do hope that we will see continued support from Splash Damage on a great game.

Agree. The setting and the ambiguity between who’s right and who’s wrong is fantastic. The writing is great and the little vignettes that piece the story together are really well done.

I’m not so sure on top shooter for the golden joystick. If the potential had been fully realised then it’d be a shoe-in, but I think there are just a few too many problems for it to take the top spot in the golden joystick awards.

It’s a fact ! We try to mount a french community around your game on PC and Console !!
like toxic say 2200 members ! both community are just dead ! nobody wants to play your game anymore !!
