I noticed when selecting my character from the main menu, my frame rate is 200+ (vsync off, com_showfps 1) forcing my video card GPU usage to 99%, temperature steadily rising & increased fan noise.
I know in Quake Wars the menu system was capped at 30fps, since navigating the menu doesn’t require high fps.
It seems this has the potential too cause issues with the graphic card.
