Brink Map List (might be a spoiler)

Just for the people who are interested, I thought why not post this.

These seem to be 5 Brink maps:

[/li][li]Cooling Tower

Taken from this quite interesting IGN Interview about Brink’s art, you get a nice description of the scenarios and screens/concepts (again, maybe a spoiler warning is apt).

Also, I guess a 6th map would be “Container City” (or is that part of Shipyard or Sectower?)

So this is it, AFAIK there are only 6 maps (?). I wonder if that’s enough for longtime play.
Additional maps (if any) will probably be DLC (the myriads of preorder stuff might indicate this route).

Last thing I’ve heard is 6, but that was a long time ago, might be wrong.
Also, how big are the maps (compared to ETQW for example)? Big not as in size, but gameplay.

I’ve been hearing 10; 8 campaign maps and 2 bonus maps; one for each side.

Dude I sure hope there are more than that. I miss the days of pre DLC, you would get games with like at least 15 maps. This day and age all they do is bleed you dry.

To my understanding, it is 10 total maps, including the 2 bonus “What-If” maps. I hope there isn’t a shortage on maps because they want to include DLC, I got a feeling you can get through this game on Co-Op in about 2-4 hours…

There should be enough room on that Island for 6+ maps.

To my understanding we still don’t have a clue. It’s 8 or 10. SD’s comments on the amount of maps have been very ambiguous.

You can see clips from the “mystery” map here. It appears to be some kind of rundown shopping center/mall, with Resistance on offense. The section about medics and reviving in the Get SMART series also takes place in one of the stores.

I’m pretty sure there are only 8 maps though :frowning:

My bad, I missed Cooling Tower. I think it and Reactor are the same thing.

Yes they are. The cooling tower is the first phase of the map.

There is Brink mode. And Brink mode only. But when you think about it its like lots of different game modes compiled into one.
