Brink : Its time for new Consoles...
Having played Brink this morning on the 360 one thing is clear, we need new consoles now.
The game is of a very low resolution and we have jaggies, pop in, no anti aliasing and generally poor looking visuals.

I am not talking about the actual grx they are superb, I just think we have reached a peak when it comes to performance this game would be absolutely jaw dropping if the 360 had more muscle and I am sure its frustrating for Splash damage not to be able to deliver the creative aspirations they have strived for. Even the character select screen is of low resolution (dont go by the youtube hd videos they are shrunk so look sharper).

Over all I enjoyed the game, defending is certainly easier. The one thing i cant work out is when I draw out my nade how to cancel it and put it away, anybody sussed it yet?

Get the game you WILL enjoy it.
:D
You obviously havent played Crysis 2 or Mass effect.

What about the Sprinting Grenade ability?
Non-the-less, I don’t think this should be an issue. How often will people ‘accidentaly’ pull out the grenade anyway.

Deep down in my heart I hope someday they stop making 3d shooters for consoles and go back to making platformers and such. (I’d kill for a new 2d Castlevania).

I know a lot of people enjoy FPS’s on consoles, but I honestly can’t see the appeal. I love console games, but FPS’s just don’t seem to translate over very well.

Or maybe consoles should make a controller with a trackball instead of a joystick. That might work too.
