All that really means is 3-5 people out of a hundred read every 1 in 50 threads. We’re like a 1000 monkeys with typewriters. They check in to see if it’s possible we’ve written anything legible.

Where in that statement did you gather that I felt that I’m entitled to anything? Hell, compared to some other companies, I’ll take what info has given by SD. You being who you are, you had to go and run with it. Right?
People are blaming Splash Damage for the lack of details, Saying that this is the “new” Splash Damage. It’s not the new Splash Damage, it’s the same people. The difference is Bethesda. I point that out. You say that Splash Damage is also to blame, implying a cultural shift from open discussion to not revealing details.
I apologize. There is nothing particularly entitled in what you literally said. It was the assumed implication that I read and the train of thought that I was following.
In this industry it isn’t possible to have a blackout where things like servers are concerned. I’ve spoken to a few server companies and they still have no idea what’s going on, which again, does not look like a good sign.
How are server providers supposed to order new hardware in advance to cope with demand if they don’t have any clue what they’re dealing with?
Fess up, Splash Damage. Pretty please?

If they truely have no idea what’s going on, I agree it could imply a single server company with an exclusive, which would suck. But have you considered maybe they do know what’s going on and are just under an NDA right now?
what do they need to know, other than release date, they already have the servers, just need to install server files, same as any other game
ah, forget it… what i really wanted 2 say:
Somehow, we are lucky enough to get dedicated servers for linux etc.
Jeah, I also expect a lot more from a multiplayer-shooter, but tbh:
Is there anything u can really expect from mp-games these days?
I think this “all those new games suck”-topic has been discussed too much, we all now what PC-Gamers get from publishers these days… but i’d love 2 see Splashdamage doing it “right”, whatever this means for the community.
There is no need to apologize. Going with the common train of thought of modern gamers over the internet, such an assumption is not taken as an insult. My last few words were meant as a joke as I really don’t know most of you all. I do apologize for my deficiencies in the comedic department.
