ooh, tabbing the lot of them now
(nm, its fixed :D)

alllsoooo… will it be possible to put… say… plasters on any which way, kinda like stamping them on :)… i just have an urge to stamp plasters on poeple.

I wonder how mods will work on it

These are some very positive previews. Did you get better at presenting on day 2?

Yep, apparently Rich, Ed and Paul learnt quite a bit yesterday, and so today they’ll be wearing clothes.

(Fluffy_gIMp) #5

The no clothes approach is certainly helping towards the shock factor, I think we’ll mix it up a bit more today, maybe some face paint?

It’s in the future…

SMART movement sounds a lot like something I was thinking of a while ago for a game design I’m putting together. In the context I was thinking of it was limited to abseiling where you’d be dangling from a rope and use the ‘move’ key to arc around, independent of your jump or crouching. SMART sounds a little more automated and I’m really looking forward to it. I like the way games are becoming a little more interactive movement wise.

Is the character customization similar to Oblivion/Fallout? Or have you guys designed it in house? I’m not too big a fan of those automated systems, they tend to take away from the style of a project, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for Brink at all.

So…does this game have a real single player campaign or just the same that you have in MP, but with bots ?

(tokamak) #9

Both single player and multi player have the same campaign because the campaign isn’t linear.

As far as I understood the single player missions take shape of team (perhaps duel?) matches that can easily be filled in by real players.

hopefully we will get to see the footage as well!

there did not appear to be a cover mechanic
I hope he is right! the cover system was interesting in gears of war but some people seem to think every shooter needs it.
