I had the same problem, for me it was the cooler for processor and the video card (dust). Tho, my first thought was: F.Y. Micro$$!!!

SD seems to be the only software house with a soul anymore. PC gaming is already on the ropes, and the SD purists hearken back to the glory days of FPS gaming…Quake, UT, and ET1/RtCW. It warms my heart to see things like GFWL getting a hearty boot to the arse. Their dedication to the PC platform pleases me to no end, even if console ports are basically mandatory for all games these days. The future of PC gaming is murky overall, but at least I have one more PC title to look forward to during the next year…

Just keep the forumla that has worked ,ETQW had one of the best friends/clan lists around and the profile system was completely fine.

Not sure if that’s available to them, they used DaemonWare for some of the networking stuff in ET:QW, Activision acquired DaemonWare a few years ago.
