And I’ve explained to you that this is an announcement thread, with no clear guideline for discussion. Hence: all topics relevant to the DLC are open, and that includes being disappointed that us players on the psn in the uk probably won’t be able to enjoy it if there’s no improvement to the matchmaking system.

Please, report me and if I’m told that I’m wrong by the mods I’ll have no problem deleting my posts and apologising.

Show me ONE other thread where a post of mine wasn’t a /direct response/ to something someone already wrote AND is a side-tracking comment.

You’re inventing things. You’re making it out like I’m going into threads like “Brink Weapons Customisation: thoughts?” and making off-the-cuff posts about Brink on the ps3 being a lagfest.

Heh. Fox I hope your lag gets better. I just had the best brink session ever. 3 hours of awesome sauce. SD will fix the problem and hopefully if PS3 people get to playing on there or if you get more people on your friends list then you’ll get to have epic gaming sessions.

I’m not trying to ask a stupid or repeat question if it has already been addressed, but do you think the upcoming stats site will have all of our stats thus far . . . ? I’ve been assuming that somewhere they’ve been tracking and saving our stats in anticipation of the stats page . . . but I never really read that or heard that anywhere. . .

Just got done a good 4+ hours myself, still have 5 friends online but too tired to keep going, game is more addicting the more i play it. Lol although since the patch my textures seem to be totally nonexistent.

Told all my online friends about the new DLC info as not many knew yet and all are pretty excited about it. This game just seems to get better and better with time.

the dlc is already done, but on hold because in one of the trailers (weapons i think) you can see weapoms with bayonetts. so everything of this was planned the whole dlc was ready at release date. but i think (hope) that they are going to fix the lags for console players (i play on pc). and i hope they updrade their anticheat program because on some servers there are lights with gottlung. and i hope they balance the heavy weapons and smgs a bit. thanks for your attention.

I dont give a rats about if it’s already done or not,they would have done a better job if they would have worked on the actual problems of the game(and this game has a ****load of them) then on a ****ing boring DLC.

There were 3 patches now for this game,3 patches changed nothing,just nothing.the game is still as buggy as on the first day.

well normally I agree with you (personally I dont care about extra stuff just fix whats there) with you but for me the fps problems and sound problems have been fixed (the same is true for others).

well. the first patch fixed the texture gridding issues for ati cards. it came out on day 1 (in europe) which is a pretty big deal for me.

other than that its really disappointing that it could even come to this. apparently there has been absolutely no testing whatsoever on different hardware. and im getting more angry everyday about that.

Good news on the DLC side.

  • DLC = more content like maps, attachemnt and so on.
  • Patches = fixes, adding lobbies etc.

Don’t expect the DLC to do patches’ job, and vice-versa.

Still, The new abilities will bring even more various tactics, and so I am overjoyed.

Also, I don’t want them to hurry and put gazillions new abilities or maps, that would all break the games balance. Hence, time is needed to test all this before release… don’t be impatient guys.
