LOL this DLC is slowly turning into Vapoware

(badman) #145

Just heard from People in Places that the DLC is still set to hit the Xbox today.

IL-2 is now getting to a point where it’s ticking the you know what out of me. Can’t finish this stupid mission in the Stalingrad campaign. But I’m hoping it’s coming out this afternoon.

(wolfnemesis75) #149

Good news. Any minute?

(CyBeR Junky) #150

 Still no news for the PC :frowning: :stroggbanana:

(TheDoomSpoon) #151

Thats good news!

Any idea on why its taking so long to release?

(Arcanoxer) #152

I am not surprised… we talk about Steam. :frowning:

(evo) #153

I really don’t think it is coming out today it’s already
1:30 pm in the U.S

you know, i thought that splash damage was the only company working really hard to alienate their audience from ever buying a product from them again. But then Blizzard went ahead and swiped that crown from then when announcing the “features” diablo 3 is going to have.

Thanks for setting the standards so low guys!

im wondering what genius’ idea it was to release the dlc at the time it will be released. i mean, i did not give up hoping it will be released today (for the pc)… but its almost 8 o clock in the evening here in germany.

does it primarely release in the us? will it be released in the evening in the us? does europe probably have to wait until this night or even til tomorrow?

i mean… its officially announced to be released today.

but, honestly. not that i care that much about the dlc or the game as i used to. i still care more about performance and network optimization, but i doubt we ever see a game we were hoping for in the first place.

this situation ist just a really neat way to care about fans and costumers, delaying release dates, silence. no official announcement about the dlc hitting today. even though its there already on ps3. its getting rediculous.

i feel like both bethesda and SD dont even want have anything to do with brink anymore. i feel like the mentality is like “oh crap, we announced the dlc, so lets just throw it out, put a price on it in two weeks and then lets move on”… but all this what happened until today is just a big ****ing mess.

i actually didnt mind the communication we got from SD so far. but, you know… today is the day and nothing is here… its not getting better here…

maybe it just got out, maybe there is a new post on the homepage, while i was writing this… but i feel SD abondened its player- and more importantly, its fanbase. “lets give em what we promised. doesnt matter if today or tomorrow”. doesnt matter if its officially announced or not.

yea. sry for this quite negative post. but thats how i feel and i dont look into a very bright future for my former favorite developer.

The only feature I heard D3 is going to have that could be considered negative, was that you have to be online to play it.

Brink just updated in Steam.

Edit

Not sure what that means… 30mb update
Still no DLC showing in Steam or through the game its self.

(SD=Flagship) #158

Well, for me the marketplace costing real money sounds okay for people to make some money, but it makes in game currency useless. And for me, the online only aspect is a big deal. But I’m slightly biased because the singleplayer for starcraft 2 wasn’t good.

The 30mb update is a big “f-you”

(Papanowel) #159

We are still waiting

There’s a smallish game update for Brink hitting Steam at the moment - it’s a compatibility update that enables support for Agents of Change (which is still going to hit PC today btw).
