Ha ha ha! I got up around 7am. Found out about the patch, then downloaded it. Played around with it for about a couple hours. No biggie. Went out for breakfast, went to see a movie (smurfs) got some lunch out at an Italian resturant (yum) got back round 3pm, played for two or three hours. Ordered some pizza (yum) and hung out with the fam. Got back on round 9 and played until 1pm or so, and had some fun with Thesuperhappyfuntime Clan and Neph&Co. Then went to bed after chilling watching Chronicles of Riddick for the 1billionth time until Riddick is all back of the bus, then fell asleep. What’s wrong with that for a Friday?
Nah. Only thing wrong was the beer missing with the Brink. But, beggars can’t be choosers.
Actually, it was well done. Really funny. It had one cheesy part, but other than that it was good. I thought it was gonna be lame, but it was surprisingly good.
On topic. I will try out more of the update hopefully tonight. I did not get a chance to try out my heavy with the new weapons.
It has NPH! how can you go wrong!?! hopefully it was more along the lines of Rango (adult movie masquerading as a kids movie) than Garfield/Transformers (cheap cash ins on childhood nostalgia)
back OT myself - my heavy spies say the tweaks are fair but not overpowering…i suspect some of their increases will be more effective in FF_off matches where laying into the groups indiscriminately will be less problematic.
THe Gotlung seems to kill faster, the Hjammerdiem is actually usable and can be an effective weapon now and I was getting more kills with the EZ-Nade. I think if they boosted the health of Heavies, they might actually “feel” like a Heavy character and people may see more reason to use them over Lights.
i dont think heavies need more health, they should go slightly faster at least for sprinting. you can
tell they take more hits than a medium, but I wouldn’t dare to play them because I can do more with
a medium/light because of their speed
I thought the smurfs was lame though. Not what I expected, since the humor was cheesy… well it was funny for my younger brother… but otherwise… I wouldn’t pay money to watch it with my friends :(.
But it does take me back to my younger days when I did watch it on tv :).
… I guess it just shows I grew out of it ha.

But Heavy characters aren’t known for their speed, and as such, cater to a specific playstyle. Heavy characters are known for being juggernauts, who hit hard and take a lot of hits to bring down, with a sacrifice to speed and mobility. It’s why some players (like myself) prefer Zangief over Ryu or Vega. That’s why I say improve upon the Heavies for those who prefer a “Heavy” playstyle, instead of trying to make them more palatable for other playstyles.
Increasing their health fits more with the playstyle of how a Heavy character should behave/play. If you prefer Lights and Mediums because they offer more versatility due to their speed, then a Heavy doesn’t really fit your playstle to begin with. Giving the Heavy more of what the other bodytypes already have more of (speed) seems counterproductive. Increasing one of their already strengths further (health) seems to make more sense. You can’t be fast and be a tank. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
this.
reminds me of the phrase stamped on the Bontrager gear we carried at the bike shop i worked at during college
Light - Strong - Cheap… Pick 2.

I just got a new set of Bontrager tires for my bike. Strong and cheap would be the 2 I picked

Woohooo! Those screenshots are nice!
Can’t wait for the DLC. I’ll start playing again when its out.
Btw, what are your plans now SD? Are you making more DLC’s? Modtools?

I’ve got some Chun Li action for you!
I mostly can’t believe a game that is based around a structure visible from every map and is the most important part of the arc which is also the icon of the game… wasn’t originally available to play in game… I’m sorry but it reeks of unfinished.
Imagine going through all of half life 2, and you don’t even go near the citadel, or doom 3 and you never go to hell.
The thought that you will eventually have to pay for it is unbelievable.
It’s also mostly a bummer that the screens make it look like you’re not actually in the tower, but in the courtyard…
I mean Jesus Splash-Damage, it’s not that difficult of a concept. It’s a fun game, just finish it please.
I am so ready for this update Ive been waiting forever since the first talk about it!! :stroggtapir: says gratz to you and I cant wait till the clan system is up so that me and my buds can kick some @$$ in the ladders!!
GO ROFL CLAN
