Cry me a river…
Brink Comic
I guess it’s just me (and my age maybe?), but figures, posters etc. just don’t interest me. I don’t have my own bedroom full of games and posters any more, I share a room with my wife and I very much doubt she’d be happy about either of those. And to be perfectly honest, I do feel a bit old for things like that.
Nah, I feel the same about stuff like posters and figurines, they just seem tacky to me. I’d rather have a graphic novel detailing the backstory.
I like quality figures and replicas but for reasons already stated in the other thread I feel they are not best suited for Brink and I wouldn’t buy a novel either as I don’t find Brink’s universe interesting at this moment in time, it’s too routed in reality, I prefer more fantasy in games like Zelda and Metroid both of which use a single character who makes a difference to their respective worlds rather than just be some random fighter in some civil war.
A comic would be great though, that’s something you quickly pick up and put down.
I like the the idea of figurines but imho that wouldn’t work well for a collectors edition.
Looking at the ones from WoW it could be problematic that the your guy in Brink is much more detailed, so the figurines probably wouldn’t look that good or would be insane expensive (if even possible with that method).
Comic: Yes, but not just to have a one.
what abought the idea of a novel . i did a post a bought it and was sent hear
The only games I know that have novels are games like the splinter cell and tom clancy series and so forth. And a lot of that stuff started off as novels. Furthermore novel/comic, they are both back story development. One shouldn’t be taken more seriously then another. It’s a matter of preference as one medium is just different the the other in presentation even though they can both tell the same story.
[QUOTE=Vaporman;260529]I’ve got a man working on that one. For a giveaway. It’s not complete yet.
As for comics, maybe I should break out the paper and ink one more time? It’s been a while though.

These were the only two figures given away as prizes at the forum. I did not make them. Hunter Knight Customs made them.
