I was actually wondering if there going to be any pre-emptive Brink clans set up, or if there already a load hanging around. I’m positive there will be some other gaming clans moving over, but thats a general trend. Anyone know of any that are floating around in the abyss? I haven’t been in a clan for years and I miss the community and the social side of it all. <—Not loved
Brink Clans
the one in my sig is brink-only, it’s started in… march i believe.
it’s growing steadily
At the launch of the game it’ll probably mostly be clans from older games who pick up brink. I for one will not be joining another clan until I know how active Digital Legion will be in Brink.
Thanks Nikto, I’ll have a lookie at the olde webbysite.
Is Digital Legion your clan Light?
Nah light is a biAtch! he just got brain washed but will soon come back to light again! (uhuhuh what a word play…)
Peace

and this
is true.
Oh and this too:
Clans.
They’re pointless.
Considering the titanic amount of people that will play this game, I highly doubt you’ll have the problem of not enough people playing when you log on. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no need to be enslaved to some pimple-faced twelve year old’s group of obese gamers. I’d rather play the game on my schedule.

You got it all wrong - the obese, pimple-faced, twelve year olds are all playing WoW. This is more of the lanky, messed up hair, glasses too big for their face, crowd…
It goes without saying you join a group of people you enjoy playing with. There are also clans which don’t consist of 12 year olds. I couldn’t care less what people look like btw, I don’t get to see em anyway.

Awesome, we have three clan threads now.

3
I put my effort into the first one.

Even though I agree with you to a point, not everyone else can see your perspective. You’re still trolling since you’re generalizing everything and not explaining anything.
My thread is just 1st try, to make a clan list. Nothing special, because it’s too early.
If Steam are smart they’ll expand the Groups integration and features quickly. It’s clearly comparable to Live/PSN now, if they can add stuff like forums, ladders etc and expand beyond the PC and Mac, onto Linux and PS3 they’ll have a very good consolidated position.
For me, clans are like your favorite bar or hang out. Sure some are more serious than others but that has little to do with the purpose of clans thats just people being people. For me, with friends lists I feel less need to have a specific clan to just play with like minded people but I wouldn’t be against a clan/group if the atmosphere was to my liking.
And yes, merge threads.
^ Complete opposite here.
A clan to me is a bit like playing for a decent bball team every Thursday night.
You might get along with one or two, and talk about something other than basketball - but for the most part, you dont really give a crap about who is in your team. You only care about whether they can ball.
We had a few guys in our etqw team, that were the other way around. They didnt last very long unfortunately.
