Dear Steam/Bethesda/Splash Damage/people who matter,
It appears that BRINK is set for retail release on 12th May, in Australia, which actually means people are going to be purchase the game, and yet have to wait more than 24 hours for the game to be unlocked on the 13th of May, American time. – Judging from the countdown on the steam store page, BRINK will be unlocked in Australia at 10am on Friday the 13th. Whereas people may purchase the retail copy as early as 9am on the 12th of May, less than 24 hours prior to the unlock time.
Any chance of updating the Australia release date on Steam so that we can all play at the correct time?
It’s rather frustrating that there are those of us who have purchased the steam version of the game, yet we have to wait for delayed release times just for the retail copies of the game to be sold. Although this doesn’t make sense, when people can purchase the retail copy earlier as well.
So this doesn’t make sense for either retail or digital purchasers of the game.
Please, it’s not that hard to update the release date so that it correctly reflects the Australian release date?
Any Australians here? Show your support!
