Granted - that’s obvious hype - but it isn’t even decent (much less revolutionary) AI. The AI in ET:QW provides a more rewarding campaign experience.
It’s not fair to just say “they’re bots…what do you expect?”. I don’t expect “indistinguishable from human”, but games like Gears, UT3 and QW:ET prove that AI can definitely provide a rewarding experience.
Well, I may have been a bit rough about the AI. Honestly, I have played with them and I didn’t really have anything to complain about. But I wasn’t really paying attention to their style of play. What is fundamentaly wrong with the AI in your opinion ?
(When I was playing they would move forward and take care of the main objective if I was fighting over something else. They would give me reviving syringes, throw grenades, buff me. It wasn’t undistinguishable from humans, especially when you would see them in combat. I only noticed that my AI team was rather bad as far as firefights were concerned, leaving me to do most of the killing. But except for that, I didn’t really notice anything important, so I’m interested in what you saw and how it compares to other games)
Take it from someone who loves the Rainbow Six games
Which ones ?
