Brink 4870 Radeon

Hi my system specs are: Core i7 CPU 2.67GHz
HD Radeon 4870 512 mb (overclocked)
12 GB Ram

I should be getting more than 15~ fps right? i mean in game ive tried from drivers 10.1 to 11.5 and only 11.2 gave me a 10 percent fps boost. I know theres a problem with ati 4000 series but i should be expecting 90 or so fps right?

have you played online or just single player mission? online play seems to be smoother currently.
there seems to be some performance issue with ATI and Brink… they’re working on them so hopefully things will improve soon for you. i would guess you should see about 60-90fps avg though.

Yes you should. And it’s not only the 4000 series, I wish everyone would stop saying that. I get the problems too with a 5770.

AFAIK they are working on it as we speak.

Yeah, I’m having the 5770 too and I’ve been re-installing a few drivers and now my game is so messed up that I’m getting 15-40 FPS with FPS configs.
The hotfix from AMD/ATI didn’t work :expressionless:

I have a Radeon HD4670
I updated from 10.8 to 11.5 and my fps is still bad, 10-40 FPS.
Think it was bit better with 10.8 but the fluctuation is the real killer anyhow.
11.2 might be better but I can’t be bothered atm.

I’ve seen people with 5 and 6 series having same trouble indeed.
Anywho, AFAIK they are working on it as we speak too.

And please add a fps cap pretty please

I use 11.4 and it’s quite playable online
