When I bought mine at direct2drive there was a promotional discount code just like that one and it also stated that it wouldn’t work on pre-orders altough it worked just fine and I payed only $37, it was a 25% back then. Worth to try, the discount works on the cart, not sure after checking out, either way ppl can just cancel the order before finishing it.

  • It does seem to work with pre-orders, I’ve seen posts of ppl getting the discount on pre-order
