I’m putting this in my diary.
Brink 2: Would You Buy It?
absolutly NO
Sd lost my support after years. This is not due to the game that is broken. Its just cause they are totally ignoring the requests of their own customers and there is too much silence from them around this game.
They just abandoned us. I will abandone 'em
ps: dont worry they aint workin on brink 2, they are sure workin on ET 2
So they can ruine it tooo
No. And not just a future Brink, but I’ll be hesitant to buy any SD game again. The game came out at least 1 year too early, that’s unforgivable. I mean they had to test it, right? And if they tested it wouldn’t they be saying to themselves “man, this game is no where near done?”
But they pushed it out to collect our money and figured they’d get around to fixing it later. We paid $50-$60 for a demo. So no, I’m not buying a Splash Damage game ever again because that’s a horrible way to treat your customers.Blame it on the publisher if you want, but the fact is Brink is SD’s game and SD has to wear it.
lol it’s what…2 months after release and we’re all waiting on a dlc that might make it feel like a full and hopefully finished game? Some games need to get patched after released, that’s fine, but very very few games feel so barebones/incomplete as Brink did at launch and very very few games need to push out more content within just 60 days to make it feel like more of a real game. It honestly feels like the test version that should have been released approximately 1 year before the real game.
It’s on par with some of the more clumsy Xbox Live Arcade games.
This ^^^ And
For me it had nothing to do with Brink not living up to the hype. By any standards, Brink was a disaster at launch
I hope they improve it, I’m not one who wants to see Brink fail, I’m just disgusted by this whole ordeal. Heads deserve to roll for Brink. Maybe SD should look into hiring some competent people.
This ^^^^^
I would torrent it 1st lol : p, and I supose SD is already working on a new game look at theyr jobs aplication thing at SD page, but it won´t be Brink2 because that would be kinda kamikazi, but a new game with some similar features its a possibility if you look at SD other games, they all have similar core elements.
For 15€ as a downloadable game (like Section 8 Prejudice did), of course. At full retail… Probably not.
Some novel tie-ins with some Prequel and In-between story stuff would be cool to bridge the gap between Brink 1 and Brink 2.
never again, nothing from SD again.
Maybe if there will be free demo.
Absolutely not if it’s not going to be epic. Epic for my standards.
There are many who do visit forums. This forum is proof enough of that. Many of the most active posters here are rom the 360 community.
As of right now, the no’s have it accross all platforms. GREAT JOB SD! Thats an epic win for you! You guys should be sooooo proud of the way that you have conducted yourselves with this game.
I have found that many console players tend to not visit developer/publisher forums for specific games, and instead stick to general gaming forums, like Gfaqs, Gametrailers, IGN, Xbox etc.

good times are over.
You’re missing the point…
You are taking one example, and using it as a rebuttal. My observations are across many different sites and forums - It’s a general observation. I never said no console players never, ever visit developer/publishers - just that in the grand scheme of things, it tends to be PC players that are more likely to frequent these types of forums.
