hiho, i made a small alpha version of the remagen bridge map for you, its nothing special, just a DM map atm;) <-alpha

Hm, I dl:ed it and “Host game”. I managed to start it, but when “inside” game, it looks funny. cannot se weapon I hold in hand. World (the bridge and mountains) are wierd. Somethings is wrong.
In consol, I see this: “ERROR, no script_multiplayer found in map”.

PS. Will dl again, and try again. I hope the problem is all my fault.

i had the same problem. And it seems like the map is only drawing the parts immediately around me and everything else is badly fragmented

Heres a shot of whats going on, if that helps. It looks like the map is culling anything beyond about 256 units.

This map simply does not work…I mean I can run around…but the gun doesnt show up and the entire map flickers…you can’t see anything.

i put in the wrong shader.
its “mp_remagen.shader” not “remagen.shader”!
link will be the same in 5 mins!
download again and try please;)

You should never change the shipped shader files, it will upset alot of people. Also including all your scripts directory is just madness!

didnt change the shipped shader files. and i didnt include other shaders mady by me.

just icluded the shipped shaders because of script multiplayer errors or so :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Your latest pk3/zip file (11/09/2003 19:16) includes your scripts directory with your et_entities def file and your editor config files (4 of them). This will catch people out and cause someone problems with their editor.

BTW its finally nice to see the map up close! That bridge is really really in need of some ET vehicle support like maybe tugs from railgun. Got some nice touches with the battery dingy’s stranded on the bridge support areas.

Some holes in the bridge track area or broken down vehicles blocking the route across the bridge and offering cover. Also needs 2 forward spawn areas on the actually bridge otherwise people will be running to the battle all the time. The forward spawn areas could be where the bridge supports are and linked in some way to the lower section. Some artist license could be in order with a small wood structure fixed to the side of the bridge.

Looks nice, but i cannot keep it on my pc as u included the shader files. Tested it and it looked nice…the bridge is VERY long. Nice brushwork though. The windows are a little tall, hard to aim with the MG´s.
