I got two things:

  • When you stand, by the bell, in the church tower, and look out over the town, some of the roof tops show, but their walls are gone. May be a VIS issue.
  • The sound of the sewer grate opening (allied side), is very very faint. There is a sound right? Or is the voices in my head messing with me again…

actually, menzel didn’t texture a bunch of roofs because typically they can’t be seen. Will fix some of those. there is a sound, but you’re right it is very faint. I may replace that with a target speaker.

i was thinking of opening a path from the corner near the allied spawn thru the piece of road that is blocked by rubble. I think that would make the travel time to the CP for boht teams about the same. Right now, the allies travel time is about 9 seconds faster than the axis. Alternatively, I was thinking of disabling the recharge time bonus for the CP, as getting a forward spawn is bonus enough

Hmm, I put it up on my server in stopwatch mode and entered as allies, but when I blow the 88-canon game will not end. Did I miss some obj or what ? It just said defend town and blow primary obj in the description ?

I had few problems where i was stuck inside brushwork and had to /kill to get out.
Near the 88 the crew served MG. I used it and got stuck inside it and near the rubble inside house. I do not member whitch one.

I just removed the map again after it bluescreened my server, but it looks real nice so I’ll prolly put it back up again in some later version.

Providing a logfile snip will help Iffy to get that fixed. There are many causes that may crash a server.

Today I’ve had a quick game on a server (unfortunately 1 on 1) for the first time.
Looks very nice.

And i also have seen the bug CrazyGuy has reported:
The gun fires although it is destroyed.

When walking from the allied spawn, and coming to the burned out car, there is some z-fighting in on the ground near the shops.

Here is a screeny of what I was talking about:

The z-fighting is to the right of the cross hair.

And a couple of more things:

This banner is moving unnatural. You can easily see where its subdivided. Perhaps if you made the movement more subtle.


The lack of shadow under some of the wheels, make this one look like its hoovering. Perhaps increase the density of the lightmap underneath it. Thats possible right?


I was playing it on S.S. Extreme, and one of the other guys fell through a roof top, and ended up underneath the map. Here he could walk around.

Last thing. The fires are usually frozen when the map comes up on this server. I have tried looking in the console for error messages, but the only ones are a couple of warnings about a rommel texture.

Ups, I forgot: Mortars are not working in A4 and A5 (the allied spawn).

The wire is going through the flag.


Note the square character block at the end of the wm_announce text.


Notice the HOM effect when you view the sky through the grate.


The door has some weird textures at the top. Looks like a stone texture.


The texture on the brush above thiss door frame looks a bit off.
