When will the map be available for testing? Any idea?

So, a small bug made it impossible for us to test the map for the closed beta on monday, so we had to push the test today. However, the map will probably still get released this monday, depending on how the closed beta goes!

really good… what i don’t like is the speed of the ‘waterfall’

beautifull, could only see until 1min 33 then it stopped streaming…
one remark I got, the little river where there is water dropping on to a watermill, the water is falling to slow, (at 0:47)…

Yeah, the water goes a bit slow, but I guess its because I kind of wanted it to have a relax flow.
So much small details you putted in, I’m gonna call this map “Playable Art” !

…if i should say something negative…it’s the stone roofs in pic 1 & 2 …doesn’t look quite right…
shouldn’t it be more flatten stones we norwegian call it “skifer”… maybe google search for “oppdal skifer” and you might find something usefull…

Oh God, I’ve never seen sucha detailed map IN MY ENTIRE LIFE (for W:ET).
I love the Avoc was here part, really cool that you placed a mappers signature in it 
I have no doubt about the fact that this map will become a great succes !
Though I have a little question; about the birds… I use pretty low config, does this mean I won’t be able to shoot these pretty birdies? Or is it some kind of a shader/texture?

The closed beta reveiled a couple of things:
- There was a bug that made the server crash - this has been fixed however
- At points the fps dropped down to 4 for some people, me included. Others did not have this problem.
I have an idea that this happened because the maps blocksize is set to 2048, which might be a bit too big, and that combined with the fact that the map is rather open makes the engiene have to calibrate too much hit collision.
At the worst place, the amount of tris is 35.000 - however, most of the areas it is in the low 15.000 - 25.000 tris.
It would be great if anyone could give me any other reason why it would drop so much.
However, the good thing is that the map is filled to the brim with action, so much infact that people did not have the time to even try to search for all the hidden things we have added in the map =D
We had feared that the map favored the axis much more than the allies, but the exact opposite was the case - the allies were able to go through the defences quite fast - this has most likely to do with the fact that the axis can only destroy objects along the tanks path, and not construct barriers that would otherwise be reconstructed upon their destruction.
We had also feared that people would be busy climbing the roofs of the buildings and start camping, this didn’t happen either since there are no real bottlenecks in the map. Only thing that might be improved would be the axis first spawn to provide an alternative exit.
i have some fps drops on streets of italy as well, but that’s a et engine fault i’m afraid. sometimes when you are killed, your body is floating in air and for example hanging in moving entity.
it could be a vis problem too… i’d need to see the map in-game. can’t wait to test it 
I have not made the map on my own, so 2bit would have to agree. However, I think there is a possibility that the source will get released at some point =)
But as Sunny said, the map itself hasen’t been released, so its too soon to think of that =D
