there’s a server full all day in the afternoon (est) till about 6 from what ive seen when im home. rare to get more than 10 in an NA server. hopefully that will drastically change on beta launch

I run Xt on low with everything off the framerate is all over the place. Where as in that BF4 beta I get 200fps on ultra settings!

Yep also messes with how the mouse feels me too, since it seems that higher the framerate the less floaty the mouse is. Sod gameplay updates I think SD should focus all there energy on fixing the framerate the next patch. On a side note I think that not a lot of the new comers are going to put up with, a) the performance & b) long TTK, or very fast TTK (rewards aim but the guns don’t support tracking aim, and it just feels more random IMO). Three things I think they could do to get this more predictable (for me) are ether.

a) I think the hit box for the head could be rolled back to it’s smaller state and keep all the other changes (maybe give larger clip sizes too).
b) Or revert back to the higher body shot damage and slightly lower headshot damage, with the larger head hitbox.
c) Make the weapons support tracking aim in hipfire (not going to happen IMO).

The Headshots finally feel OK the spread, accuracy and movement now needs to be adjusted! Adjustments are made to hip fire. Iron sights should not even be in this game…

Headshots are fine!

The fact that there is now a noticeable difference between HS and BS actually makes aiming (more) rewarding. Only real qualms for me are that the hitboxes seem too small and could alienate newer players (especially when the CBT lands)

Actually it’s a “hip-fire close range, ironsight long range” game :slight_smile:

The switchover tends to occur at around 900uu, aka 18m.

I first need to tweak my CFG so I can see the iron sight more clearly. Its really weird everything looks like an oil painting in my cfg. At uber long range i will use the crosshair :-p

O yeah, the more I think about it the more I want prone… ET Has It, Battlefield Has It, COD Has it… Its an advanced (Sort of) skill move and should be in a game that is going to be a shooter. Something needs to be added so its not just M_Pitch 0 and go nutz. I was watching some demo’s and frag videos of all 3 games and its abundantly obvious that prone was highly used for many reasons.

Here’s a questions how much does crouching reduce spread and increase accuracy? In ET it was a must at long range… Is SD trying to find a hapy middle for crouch between hip fire and Ironsights?

For the below to make sense, please bear in mind that Running (not Sprinting) is our base state.

Crouch Move
Starting Spread = -64%
Maximum Spread, Creep & Recoil = -10%

So crouching massively helps the accuracy of the initial few bullets and reduces the maximum spread, creep and recoil too.

Looks good, but please include dynamic rankings like CSGO has (or similar). If you play well and improve, you rank up. Also, a win vS a team with a higher average rank gets you more points towards the next rank than slaughtering a team with a lower average rank.

Speaking from personal experience, I care about my rank in CSGO and I am much more of a team player in that game when paired with random strangers because I really want to win and rank up. I have improved 3-4 ranks from my initial placement following 10 matchmaking wins. It is one of the biggest reasons I keep playing that game (that and the skill curve).

Grinding it out to reach “level 55” brings no sense of accomplishment for me. Reaching the rank of “Global Elite” after months of watching demos, practicing nades, rotations, peaks, and crosshair placement, etc… is very rewarding.

Can we expect more than 4 maps for the beta ? You keep the same blockout for VIP ?
We need at least and impair number of maps on Obj servers, cause you always stick to the same side, like what we have for the moment, so it became boring to play only def or only attack.
