I did get a event skin, to bad its a terrible card that wont be used. So don’t feel to bad about it. Notice how they have been pushing events and sales it increase there income. What date in the future are they trying to get a much money out of their players as possible. for???

Man, people are getting so worked up over this game pushing some money purchases, it’s all cool. This game is like the definition of a fair ftp game, yeah, some stuff was happening with the boosters, but don’t like rage quit the game because you didn’t get lucky and they want to make money…

Pardon the pun, but I was super stoked when I got a Stoker loadout this morning, if it had been Sparks or Rhino or Phantom I would have had a real sook.

How are they making money on the boosters though? You can’t outright buy them, you can only really buy a credit booster then dump a ton of time into the game grinding. I managed to get a Nader card at 10 boosters, it’s a bad loadout, I’ll likely never use it, this gives me no desire to consider further booster purchases. If anything, this is the wrong way to go about making money, as leaving the content behind such high costs WITH RNG still playing a factor will kill any desire for people to continue with them. Lowering the overall cost for it, or letting you select a loadout would make it far less of an RNG grindfest for something you’ll likely never use.

Ehh @Sintacs the rng keeps the cards rare and will increase their value IF THEY EVER ADD IN TRADING!! But anyway, that’s why I don’t buy anything, and idk why some people are complaining about them pushing sales, their really not, their very fair and you can get almost anything without paying a dime.

Are you serious? Granted, the loadouts have no impact on gameplay. But this monetization model is just bad. I have heard so many people say “I would buy an elite case, but the amount of RNG involved is just too much” or “I did buy elite cases, but only to support the devs, not because I think it was worth it”. I don’t know how many people purchase cases for cash, but a system with more fairness would definately earn them more money.

What’s so wrong about giving the players a choice to

  1. Put a lot of effort in the event to get 1-2 cards a week
  2. Spend their hard earned credits to increase the drop rate. Side effect: increases long term player retention rates, because players want to earn their credits again.
  3. Spend some real cash to buy the loadout they want, or at least with much less RNG.

There are many good examples in other games where this model works. The people who spend money on an FTP game are usually the hard-working ones anyways, who would not want to spend too much time grinding. Those who have enough time to spend on a game usually spend less money, because they don’t spend that time earning money.
