Bomb plant bug on Market w/Proxy

On market if a player plants at a (not sure if b, a is more commonly targeted) while playing as proxy then the c4 disappears and if every attacker gets killed the game bugs even more and then everyone has to wait until the end of the timer. This has many problems because of this, proxies can’t be used (no mines to defend), engineers may not be available at all, attackers must kill all defenders to win turning this into a 1 life Team deathmatch game. I know there is a bug fixing update right now so hope this fix is included there.

This bug isnt bound to Proxy, saw Bushwackers and Fletcher do the same. It aswell isnt bound to A or B or the map because i saw it happen on all spots on both exec maps.

If all Attacker get killd it doesnt bug more but due to the fact that its planted without being planted, the game waits for the c4 to be defused so time rolls on. Since the pillar will neverless not explode the defender will win once the time runs out.

The only thing which i wonder but dont feel sorry about it not happening, is that this bug doesnt cause overtime, because its planted and not at the same time.

Never seen it with anyone else myself, do you main execution?

Usually switching merc solves the problem for the rest of the match but I only play this gamemode when missions are on for it, or the matchmaking and salt is too high in the other gamemodes and I want to play with the better part of the community xD

Would like to see it fix this really kills the immersiveness of the game; takes me outta my zone. Almost as much as a hacker but this bug allows me to recover the next round, if the engineer or I change merc if it’s repeated then the flame is gone and I just chill on chat or go on regular lobby and chat s*** xD.

(Talking about salt I think that it would be cool to be able to report salt (Taking a lot more lightly) or have the ability to avoid players when the community picks up or game is finalised.)

Reported this bug back in December, unfortunately it’s never been fixed. Problem is it happens randomly and it’s very rare, so I dare say they just haven’t been able to reproduce it ( if they have even looked into it at all :expressionless: )

Today i managed to produce this bug by killing the Proxy who was planting in the exact same moment the planted sound appeared. (I was Vassili)

However, if i recall correct it happened aswell while noone killed the planter… .

The only way I have found to stop it from happening is to plant near the outer edge of the pylon, not right up next to it.

I have only played one execution match in the last 4 months though so I dont know if this still works to avoid the issue.
