Body types permanent?

(JayXombie) #1

If I create a lightweight guy, can I change him later on? Or is this permanent.

If this is permanent, can I delete characters?

Lastly, are we given one character per faction?

(Angrim) #2

You can change your body type between matches without changing the character.

(coleym91) #3

You can change body types outside of a game from the Customisation screen.

(JayXombie) #4

Cool, thanks!

And how many characters are we permitted per faction?

(coleym91) #5

You can have 10 characters total. Each character can have an outfit for each faction.

(Nerfed) #6

Characters are not faction-specific, and you can have 10 characters. You can give every character a specific look for resistance and security, so you actually get 20 characters, but when it comes down purely to the skill points you can spend, 10 characters.

Hmmn, interesting. I’m so used to dedicating all my time making one guy, but it seems I have lots of choices now.

Does each one of the ten characters have the ability to use each class? Or do you assign classes at the start.

(Nail) #8

you can change class in game at command post any time

(JayXombie) #9

Oh, so each character has access to any class, the only difference between them is how they look?

(coleym91) #10

Their look and ability builds is what will separate your characters.

(JayXombie) #11

I guess I’ll have to do more research on this ‘ability’ stuff.

Doesn’t seem like something that can be summed up xD.

(trigg3r) #12

there are only a few things than you cannot change, like the voice accents, archetype, tatoos and probably something else i dont remember. you can still change the clothes and everything else

Think of them like WoW talents.

Except with 5 trees.

1 tree for “General” stuff,
and then 1 tree each for the classes.

I find it weak that they changed it from permanent body types to changable, you have 10 characters theres no need to change their body type

(RadBrad31) #15

They chose to unlock the heavy body at level 5, and light body at level 7. The ability to change body type is pretty necessary. And a good thing to have, given if you’re playing with a different set of friends, and need a light but want to use your heavy medic. Or vice versa. I don’t think it’ll be utilized much though, unless it’s in a competitive scenario.
