From what i have gathered from both this forum and the Level Editing/Modeling forum over at Q3world, this such error doesnt mean much as far as a critical error is concerned. If your comming across this error when your BSPC’ing (compiling for bots), ignore this error. If your getting this error when q3map2’ing and it gives a spit: “Entity #, Brush # duplicate planes”, there is an issue between q3map2 and GTK 1.2.13 (havent personally tried the newest version) about brush numbers being borked.

Im babbleing…

To sum this up, as far as I know, its not a level nuking error. If your a cleanly fool such as myself, any ‘error’ is a bad one and must be found/fixed.

For the record, what version of Q3map2/GTK are you using?

hi, thanks - reply, yes cleanlyfool!! …

I’ve since, begun fiddlein’ with the little ‘brush cleanup’ button and apparently it removes brush abnormalities or extra areas where ‘brush plane dups’

your correct about “entity#, brush #, duplicate planes” … I’m using GtkRadiant V 1.3.8 for E.T.

I think I messed up and this post is under the wrong heading, probally shoulda bean… over @ editing ET thread not, Q3map2 support… sorry - I goofed.

I do need to learn about these pluggins… the map I’m building is way outta my league… original idea… pretty big… and I’ve no scripting experience, no previous experience with mapping Wolf.

so thanks for the salute, I appreciate it… J.M.
