Blue Screen of Death BAD_POOL_HEADER

(signofzeta) #1

It seems that when the match ends, in 2 instances out of many, I get a BSOD stating that there is a BAD_POOL_HEADER. I can’t seem to pinpoint the cause, but after my computer restarts, windows 8.1 updates, and I see the little clock icon on the flag icon on the task bar, stating my computer is undergoing maintenance.

I have a hunch that every time windows 8.1 tries to auto update, or the daily maintenance activates, and at the exact time when I play Dirty Bomb, and the match just ends, I get a BAD_POOL_HEADER BSOD.

Does anyone have any BSOD problems with this game? I played other games, and it seems to only happen with this one.

Ok, I don’t really know the cause, but the last time this happened, I just finished an Execution match. Now, this time, I was trying to join an Execution match, and my computer got BSOD.

The first time this happened, it was 3 days after the phoenix update. The second time was yesterday, and the third time was today. I also started to play this game more, so it has more chance for my computer to BSOD, because I am loading the maps more often than before.

Seems to point to dodgy RAM, or gfx drivers.
