Blue on enemy models

(n-x) #1

I think it is a really bad idea to have blue elements on enemy models e.g. Phoenix and Proxy. The game is too fast to hesitate just a moment to realize that only a part of the model is blue and not everything.

What is blue about those 2 ? Maybe you were confused by cobalt cards

yeah cobalt really confuses me. if its something like a proxy and she jsut runs past me, i allways mistake her for teammate. close quartrs mercs are the ones that benefit from cobalts the most because you wont get a chance to see their gamertag.

I guess with Proxy it was a cobald card, but Phoenix has a blue helmet by default, hasnt he? Either way, my point stands. Blue on a enemy model is a bad idea.

I still hate cobalt cards for that reason alone, even a split second of hesitation can be the end of you. It should honestly be blue on your side and red on the other.

This is why my squad consists entirely of Shard Cobalts.

you can change the colors of your team and the enemy’s team in the settings files

(capriRocket) #8

you can only change ui stuff though, right?

If you refer to this: [ShooterGame.SGUIHUDIFFObjectEnemy] in the ShooterUi.ini, then yes, you kind of can change the color, but a blue phoenix helmet stays blue.

I’ve noticed that Cobalt Kiras are especially bad for this kind of situation - they’re more blue than they are red.
