Does anyone else hate the Blishlock ironsight? The green dot is fucking massive and gets in the way when I’m trying to hit shit at range, and it’s all fuzzy and shit.
I say make it smaller and not fuzzy and it would be much more viable.

I can’t remember where, but I think a dev stated here on the forums that the dot size wouldn’t change because the gun isn’t meant for long range. If someone can find the quote that’d be nice.
I don’t necessarily agree with that, though. I think the dot could be at least crisper if they don’t want to make it smaller.
lemme show you a good tip
[spoiler]
using the normal dot crosshair is better at range since it can be set at smaller in size
also, if youre forced to use the Optic go for the upper chest then work your way up to the head with hit reg sound

Yeah, normally ofc I don’t use crosshairs; however, at really, really long ranges, I use ironsights for precision because otherwise my aim’s not really good enough to stay right in the middle all the time, you know?

Well, given that blish is by far the best smg at long ranges (because more damage per shot and less falloff), the fact that “it’s not meant for long range” is more or less void. And the only cases I ever use ironsights is at long range, but when the crosshair isn’t designed for that, there’s not much point in it, you know?
I feel when you aim down sight with the Blishlok, the reticle looks like it’s 4:3 stretched. The dot is more like an oval, making it awkward to use, especially when it’s bobbing all over the place while firing.
A. I generally just ignore the sight (I use a crosshair overlay, so I have a crosshair even while sighting), and this works for me.
B. At extreme distances, I manually fire the Blishlok (click every time). This affords a lot more control, and I find that my DPS is higher because I hit more shots per second anyway. this also means that it is easier to ignore the green dot.
Hope this helped!
Yeah, I would really like if the dot was made much smaller for usability. It’s kind of silly that it’s purposely made obstructive because it’s not supposed to be a long range gun. The gun can have its falloff or recoil adjusted if that’s really that much of an issue.
