i think the range is way too big, and u should remove the explosion. just add some sparkles effect

and it’s called flashbang :wink: u can blend terrain… and i think u meant blinding :wink:

perhaps u could add transparent frame of what player have seen half sec before screen goes white? i dont know how to explain it, look how it’s done in cod5. (:D)

That is so freaking awesome.

Though I’m curious about it’s physics. Do you still see the flash when you turn around facing the nade with the back of your character? And it seems pretty laggy, or is it me? Also, does it affect bots?

The Omnibots dont see the flashbang… When i have time, maybe i ask the omnibots dev team or i write my own stuff…

You nailed the distance flawlessly! How about duration though? Could you make the flash a bit longer, anyone who gets banged with it needs to pay lol

is there any chance to decrease (or perhaps make it variable, so server admin can configure) waiting time till u get blinded? now it’s 3 seconds, but it’s way too much… if u see it on the floor, u have 3 secs to turn around.

Also there is a beeeep sound but it not tce style. Also its play beep, but you hear all other sounds too…
And i now i have see a little bug: when you dont see the flash, but when you stand in the near, you dont hear a beep sound xD

Also there is no problem to add more variables to make it longer. But more variabels, longer docs, more questions in the forum :stuck_out_tongue:
