There’s an RPG Launcher in the game, and it’s probably Javelin’s. But tbh I would’ve liked Javelin to throw knives, it would justify the name Javelin more, and throwing knives are also in the game.

@grandioseCutlet well there’s also a type of missile called the javelin. Throwing knives don’t make sense since javelins are spear like throwing weapons. I wasbt aware that any sort of rocket launcher was in the game files. As for throwing knives, they could have been just something the devs were trying out and weren’t removed before the update shipped. This isn’t terribly uncommon. For a while in CS GO, there are files for a modified version of Dust II that is for some control point game mode that was never released. In addition, several maps that were part of past operation are still in the game files even though no official servers run those maps.

Throwing knives were around during the closed beta tests but were replaced because SD didn’t like how they impacted the game. You were able to finish downed enemies at a distance with them on 1 hit. You got to have 2 knives at a time.

It was an augment that replaced whatever knife was actually on the loadout.
