First my system specs:
FX 8320 @ stock
R9 280 slightly OC’ed (I did reset the clocks and the problem remained)
8GB ram
Windows 8.1 64 bit
i have the latest drivers for my GPU
so i recently reinstalled my OS and I downloaded DB again and it worked fine. I log on the next day and that’s when the problems started.
When i started a match my character would be doing the animations in slow motion, get about quarter way and quickly jump to the end of the animation. this combined with background and other player characters behaving like a really slow stop motion film (they were also gliding). I also got blinking “connection lost” messages during that time but my ping was 24 and sometimes 0.
i went into the tutorial and the cutscene played really slowly and choppy but the audio was fine.
I read somewhere to delete some of the config files, i did and verified it with steam. (got “2 files could not be validated” but steam said to ignore that anyway).
The problem now is that i cant even log in properly. the game would freeze with the background music still playing at either icon loading (black) screen, signing in screen or main menu screen.
if i use task manager to close it, my computer freezes and I have to restart it.
Is there anything else that i can do to try to solve this?
I’ve tried steamflush and reinstalling the game also
