Big Teams replaced by Small Teams

This new Small Teams listing has the same settings as Standard. Does this mean Small Teams does what Standard used to, and limits it to 8 humans, while Standard does what Big Teams used to and allows 16 humans per match?

I’m curious about this as well although my guess is the same as yours. on a side note, overtime is unchecked in all categories so id like some info on that too

Dude. I wasn’t lying. I will take a picture to you tomorrow and send it. How about I’ll be honest. At the start of the game there were 16, but I think by the end it was down to 11. People didn’t rejoin either, so it was 11 the whole game.

I haven’t gone on to small teams though, so I don’t know what that means. Has anyone tried it yet?

OH!? They did something that makes sense, for a change, with the match settings? Nice… but I still wish I could play Big Teams with public voice chat (VOIP) on, which used to be what Advanced was. :frowning:

I enjoy Brink, but the games feel so empty to me. Even when I go to Comp mode with a full room.

full games on xbox live today. First time I have ever seen that. Great decision to get rid of Big Teams. It was breaking up the community.

Played plenty of 8 v 8 last night. A shame it took almost three months for this to happen, as more of the original community might have stuck around if the game played this way all along.

There were full matches every night with original Big Team. Then a few weeks ago they made a tweak that split the playlists and population. Now, the Small Team makes it a bit clearer that you are in a match with only 8 humans. Standard is what most people go to first. :slight_smile:

I dunno why they still even have small teams if the balance issue hasnt been addressed. It basically just turns into lopsided teams or ends up being 8 humans vs 8 bots lol might as well play campaign!
