BIG problem with compiling

(Arcanis) #1

When I try to compile my map, GtkRadiant automaticaly close with a message that an error has encourred.

Is this because I dont have enough RAM or what?? :???: :???: :???:

Where can I download batch files??

(Mlehliw) #2

Post the error message here. I’m sure somebody could better help you out then.

Ram should not be a problem. I have just 128 megs and I have had nothing but smooth sailing.

Afaik there isn’t any place where you can download batch files. You have to learn how to make them in the LDR there is a special section allocated to batch files.

(cremator) #3

actually, there is a bug in GTK (confirmed by ttimo and ydnar) that hasnt been found out yet (they dont know whats crashing it) until then, use a bat file, its in one of the sticky threads.

I get the same problem if I compile from in GTK. If I do anything more complicated than bsp-meta GTK crashes and re-starts my PC.
:bored: That’s with GTK 1.3.8 ET.

It doesn’t happen with GTK 1.3.11-beta, I get a different error, lol.

(Arcanis) #5

YES, I have the same error as JIM_BOB7813

Is there anything that I can do to fix this :???:

Sry for stupid question :bored: but where can I find this LDR

PLZ help me
I spend a lot of time to make my map but now it doesnt work :banghead:  :banghead:

An easy way to access the LDR (level designer’s reference) is to open up radiant, click help->wolfenstein - et->et ldr
