I think I’m having hardware problems, because I leave my map on overnight to compile the light and the machine resets itself before completing. I’ve tried different versions of q3map and they all reset tiself. At first I thought it was the map but the reset happened while playing a game too now. Alas, I cannot afford to spend money on an upgrade/replacement unless I absolutely have to.
As such, I need a big favour from someone. Can someone please try and compile my map for me? This would require leaving your machine overnight compiling because it’s quite a large map and takes quite a lot of compiling. I just need to be certain it’s not the map’s fault before I start pulling my rig apart trying to find the fault.
