So the current state of matchmaking in Drty Bomb is pretty bad. I was in a comp game and at the end, the ranks were golds and cobalts and i was the only silver. What is the point of having these ranks if they dont do anything? Splash Damage, please implement a better matchmaking system. The current matchmaking is pretty bad. Dirty Bomb is still my favourite game right now though!

This topic has been discussed time and time again, right now whatever “matchmaking” which exists is purely rudimentary and is in no way shape or form going to be final, they do plan on implemented a much better system one day… no ETA but just be patient and one day it’ll come.
Right now it’s probably best to avoid competitive games all together unless you require it for a mission… even then if it’s a Win X Matches you may as well cancel and move on to more enjoyable things.
