better idea for the ban policies

Why not permanently ban the player + a hardware serial ban.
So there not just gonna make a new account because thats like in 1 a 2 min done so they can rejoin easy
and cheat agian

a ip ban is not gonna help because there are allot of free vpn’s on the internet

and to change your hardware serial its almost not possible without changing your hardware

…or downloading a tool from the internet. Oh, wait, that’s what they were doing already. Cheaters have been circumventing that particular answer for just as long as they’ve been circumventing everything else. It’s no silver bullet.

There are a ton of HWID changing programs out there.

Again with this hwid crap. Banning by hwid is as uselss a banning by mac or ip.
And hwid is NOT the same thing as hardware serials. HWID is Win assigned values that can be manipulated with ease and without much problems.

  2. its not a keylogger
  3. or fake

i know a game/mod GTA Multi theft auto (MTA)
when your serail hardware gets banned and you try
and i did test allot of hardware serial changers and all of them dint work
then i switched to my second pc and it works

you need to know how

and most kids dont even know the screw up
also it will help allot most kids will give up
because they can screw up there pc easy

True, most of cheaters and exploiters are below average intelligence or are literally kids(no brains) and spoofing hwid do require some brain activity.
But. Its not all that hard and at least some of them will actually look around for guides how to make it happen. And some will find them. And some will actually be able to make it work. And then they will share that info with their loser friends. And from there it will spread.
Members of hack forums are one of the friendliest ppl ive met actually. They will explain everything that you need in details, so that even imbecile will understand. Yes, i do frequent those. Know your enemy 'nd stuff.
Basically countermeasures must be effective enough, so that circumventing them wont be easily achievable. Even better if failure to do so would result in a permanent damage to cheaters pc.
Ideally id like if cheater pc bios got corrupted, but thats just wishful thinking. Even tho even one example of it to happen would be more effective than a million of those pointless account bans.

Most cheat providers who provide cheats for games that do hardware bans provide tools to easily change your hardware info either at the OS level or packet level. It’s not a bad thing to provide with your AC solution but at the same time it’s just a false sense of security and definitely wouldn’t reduce cheating by any meaningful amount sadly.

Closing this as it’s been brought up a lot lately and it can be commented on in other threads.
