Best Sawbonez loadout?

(Trestos) #1

I got an interesting sawbonez loadout but I don’t know if it’s good

I got a cobalt Cr42 second generation. Is it worth it or just recycle it?

CR42 is My favorite loadout for Sawbonez! I think its worth it if you like to be more offensive as a medic. Quick Draw and Drilled are both great perks and Spares is pretty nice to have also. Plus he gets the Crotzni and the M9. What’s not to love? I’d say keep it.

You want the CR42G1 or SM41G2.
If you like the Blishlok, go for the BL71G2.
Everything else is hot garbage.

Favorite primary + Extra Supplies.

There’s not really a “best loadout” : Sawbonez has multiple loadouts who are very playable, and pretty much worth each other. You just need to ask yourself a question : do I want self sustain for agressive play or do I want a more support oriented gameplay ?

If you want to be agressive, go for any loadout with Potent Packs. That augment boost the heal rate of your med packs, including self healing. Your allies probably won’t notice it a lot, but you certainly will ! That augment allows you to grab some precious time on your self heal, allowing you to come back in combat sensibly faster than usual. It’s especially useful if you are the only medic around or if the second medic is also a Sawbonez.

If you want to be more support focused, seek for Extra Supplies. That perk allows you reduce your medpack cooldown by a couple of seconds, so you’ll be able to sustain the team with heals much more efficiently than usual, and suffer less from “medpack drought”. For even more health sustain, you can also seek for Get Up. The whole point about that perk is to directly ressurect squishy mercs at full hp with a very small defib charge, so you don’t have to lay a medpack afterwards in the heat of a battle, allowing you to spare medpacks on bulkier mercs.

You can also get the best of both world with the BL71 (gen 2) loadout. It has both Extra Supplies and Potent Packs.

Support = 2nd gen BL71

Self Surviving = 1st gen BL 71

Best Combat Crotzni Sawbonez = 1st gen CR42

Best Combat SMG-9 Sawbonez = 2nd gen SM41

There is best loadouts I can tell.

CR42 Gen 1, SM41 Gen 2, BL71 Gen 2

Those’re typically the better loadouts because Get Up just isn’t as efficient since the nerfs when you have Potent Packs anyway to get people topped up. You also have an M9 with the first two, which is a solid sidearm.
