Trainyard is the map i hate the most.
Best map?
Trainyard is honestly a pretty bad map. Why don’t they change it for a different one or alter the most badly designed aspects? Basically the same thing but oh well.
I love underground. I feel that it is designed so that you can pretty much use any need effectively, and with a little creativity, each mercy has a place where it can really shine.
Am I the only one who really likes Trainyard and Terminal?
I can’t understand why anybody would enjoy playing Bridge though. That map is such garbage.
First tier is so heavily in favour of defenders, half the games end right there with nothing ever getting done by anybody.
If the attackers get past, they’re usually so strong that the rest of the map becomes a question of how hard they stomp on the defenders.
Then the last tier is a giant camp-out. Hope the attackers have 3 Naders. Otherwise it’ll be a giant waste of time.
Defending chapel is really easy if you got lot of Air Supports and good teamwork. Attacking is nice, if your team fucking push like it should
@Ctrix you basically described the exact same scenario as in Trainyard. The only reason why I think bridge is my fave map though is due to the a lot of good games I have on it. Also it’s very easy to attack in the first stage, just sneak behind them and then it’s extremely easy. And the second stage is also about having a fast merc to quickly sneak in and run away. In trainyard however it takes so long to plant and diffuse and it’s such a bad map in general, in my opinion. But good point though
Chapel because:
- most varied - the EV part has many mini-stages, plus the last big stage
- EV and plenty of open spaces => more uses for fire support
- not shotgun-friendly

I don’t really hate any map. I don’t particularly enjoy Dome because it’s very big and even on 8v8 lack of coordination makes it fell empty.
Good map in my opinion for fletcher, since you can flank any position, except in the last stage, there you are fucked
@Carniege what you have to admit it … its a map meant for the faster peeps to be in front while the tanks guard the rear and so much good 1v1 action
Chapel because it’s the most intense IMO. Especially since I prefer defense, the last objective is just so damn intense. Dodging Kira lasers, destroying that stupid bridge generators just to have it rebuilt again, and of course… the perfect airstrike

But to order them it’d probably be…
- Chapel
- Trainyard- Great map, great intensity
- Terminal- Generally fun, especially on a good intense defense, but the spawntraps are too common and awful… damn forward spawn
- Underground- I used to absolutely hate this map, but I’ve had alot of good matches on this map. Good memories
- Bridge- Offense is terrible, but defense is great… when you have a good Aura…http://forums.dirtybomb.nexon.net/discussion/comment/126972
- Dome- Too open!! Offense is way too hard! Defense is way to inconsistent! I hate this map!!! But it is an engie’s paradise, so I get loads of points
Chapel is enjoyable as long as there’s no tryhard sniper cleaning your entire team. (p.s. You can mark arty and kira’s special abilities off the building at the last point: aim for the C towards the top of the building when you first spawn. - As kira, targeting close to spawn after the initial mark will clear the backrow of usual turtle-ers)
Chapel is enjoyable for the mix of long sight lines and flank routes. I just wish the last point wasn’t so meat-grind-y; It requires a full team-clear to deliver the objective once. At that point, the defenders can’t re-claim the lost ground: almost always resulting in a second deploy.
