So I want to get every merc and have him roll the best overall loadout. Problem is I don’t know for every merc what card is the best for him so I decided to ask the forum.
Note: I know a lot of people praise hochfir proxy but I personally prefer remburg.

Shotguns aren’t very viable in the competitive scene, this is one big reason why the Hochfir is preferred. Best cards for pubs vs best cards for comp are two different things.
(That and the double SMG loadout is pretty fun)
This is a difficult question purely based on your last statement - preference. People can tell you that ‘X’ is optimal, but if you hate using it, it’s not your best option. Are you buying the loadouts outright, or trading up? At the very least I’d use leads/irons with the different weapon sets for a merc just to get a feel of what you like before hand.
There are best loadouts form some classes, and others don’t have one. Personal preference.

I guess your best bet is just to look at what each merc has available weapon wise, then rule out the ones you don’t want. I tend to trade mine up unless I want a very specific bronze for a merc just to try out different things - as such, I’m using the no fall damage augment on Proxy which previously I considered totally useless. Now, though, I’m jumping off of things to flank and putting it to great use without having to risk damage. It’s still likely not optimal, but fun in publics.
Edit: Yes, the falling damage augment was totally useless (since it was broken), but that isn’t what I was meaning, just as an afterthought! :grimace:

have 2 skyhammers because personally I prefer the AK, even though most people agree the M4 is better
also 2 proxies because I love the shotgun in some maps
The picture is missing the M4 Fragger with Unshakeable that most people use in comp since it keeps you alive (and the M4 is pretty close to even with the LMG these days). And that’s not the right SMG Proxy card at all. Hochfir/mp400 with double time is incredibly better than a Hochfire/deagle even with having drilled/quick draw.
Sawbonez also has a couple of good alternatives as well. Other than that most of the rest are pretty accurate. Dreiss on Kira though is another potential addition even if the augments aren’t great by comparison to the BR16 card.
There is a remburg proxy with double time, flying pig and looter I think the augments are better.
In my personnel opinion the companion operative for sparks isn’t the best I prefer the superb operative card cause it suits my play style better
