So I finally got a Fragger card I am happy with, but now I want to know what’s a good card for an aggressive player using a Medic or Engineer, what would you suggest?
Best Hyper Aggressive Medic, and Engineer Loadout Cards
CR42 Gen 1 Sawbonez. - Drilled, Focus, Potent Packs
C41 Gen 2 Phoenix. - Quick Draw, Double Time, Potent Packs
C41 / C72 Gen 2 Bushwhacker. - Focus, Lock On, Spares / Enigma, Drilled, Steady
BL42 Gen 2 Bushwhacker. - Drilled, Looter, Quick Draw
SM41 Sawbonez (Drilled, Potent Packs, Bomb Squad) is pretty good for an agressive medic.
For your engineer, try Fletcher with BL32 (Lock On, Fail Safe, Springy).
is it just me, or does anyone else really struggle transitioning over from the crotznie to the smg 9 ( on sawbones for me). But i thought the smg was deemed “better”, yet i cant seem to use smg 9 as well as crotznie.
(shame cause i have the exact cobalt card that @Eox got recently.)
I got a Phoenix card from the Dome event last fall that’s pretty strong on offense and defense. Haven’t found a better card yet. Phoenix is arguably the most aggressive medic, being able to self-res and heal himself while healing others. But not to say he’s the only one. As long as you have Potent Packs, the other things don’t really matter. Just find the card with the two gun mods you like the most, and Potent Packs. @LifeUpOmega had a good suggestion.
In general, even though you have weapon augments on some loadouts, I really start to consider double support augments medic as good aggressive loadouts. Not only you’ll also provide more help to your team, but you’ll also have more healing potential for yourself. Especially with phoenix where it both allows you to do a lot of medic work in a jiffy and strong harassment if you’re alone. If you like the hochfir, which is not a bad choice with him in my view, the obsidian loadout or its gen 2 counterpart is quite good.
For engineers, I consider lock on as a must have for both bushwacker and fletcher. If you like sneaky play, any lock-on bushwacker is great if you achieve to go behind enemy lines undetected : Place your turret, let her start shooting, which generally disturb enemies significantly (“hey, wtf ?!”), and start shooting afterwards. With Proxy, every loadouts without shotgun + desert eagle can be regarded as valuable aggressive loadouts.
@LifeupOmega Exactly.
1st gen CR42 is best solo-carry medic loadout.(Even with Spare bug nowadays!) @Eox 's recommendation, the new 2nd gen best aggressive SMG-9 loadout SM41 is also awesome, but Crotzni’s DPS + Focus is much more powerful.(Of course not saying SM41 isn’t strong enough!)
Too bad 2nd gen CR42 sucks because it’s got no Potent Pack.
But for Bush, 1st gen C73’s Drilled Spare combo is actually best for augmenting Bush himself by ignoring turret improvement.
Fletcher is best aggressive engineer in this game, and I highly recommend you to use good old A31, if not, H22 which has Drilled + Lock-on with the Tolen.

Well for Medic, in my experience I find the medic augments really don’t do much for me, the potent packs barely increases the health regen fast enough for me to notice, get up doesn’t restore that much more, and that augment that reduces the cooldown for the med packs only does it by 5 seconds or so.
I’m thinking about a loadout with spares, quick draw, and drilled. But…I’ll keep your suggestions in mind.
When I play Medic, I kill the enemy that’s wounded before I revive someone, this way we don’t lose two people for one, and I don’t go to revive someone who’s more than 10-15 meters away as it’s usually bait.
As much as Potent pack significantly increase self healing amount for Phoenix,
Potent Pack for Sawbonez is really really important and vital.
Hell, Aura use H71 to heal up Thunder/Rhino who takes a while to heal themselves Full, not to heal herself quick, so choosing Healing Reach for her is still top priority(because she doesn’t have any self heal problems, nor healing station having heal speed problems.)
I mean, I can understand if Phoenix uses Extra Supplies instead of Potent(Eventhough KE81 is still best for him),
But for Sawbonez who has the slowest, worst self healing ability among all medics because of penalty, I just can’t tolerate it.
I really do recommend you to use 1st gen CR42 or SM41 because of this.
If you want to constantly fight/heal yourself up, Potent Pack is so vital to aggressive Sawbonez.
HP regen is way too slow.
This is my old play with Medic-Only smurf acc.
I made handful of mistakes this game, so quite shameful to show you(I play better than this nowadays.)
but I’m sure this will show you how strong 1st gen CR42 Sawbonez is. It’s the strongkest!
Potent Pack’s self heal + Drilled Crotzni(Fastest reloading primary in DB) + Focus.
PERFECT.
Potent Packs in general is a strong choice for any medic really. For Phoenix it’s quite useful due to effectively being a cool down timer reduction, meaning more frequent mass healing.
Potent packs is reducing healing wave cooldown? You have to look up what extra supplies does… This forum never ceases to amaze me.
Potent Packs makes the heal aura more effective, meaning you can charge it for less amount of time to heal the same amount of damage. Since the cool down is based on how long you charge it before release, you effectively, not DIRECTLY, have less of a cool down.
Try it yourself; heal yourself from 50 HP without Potent Packs. Then do it with Potent Packs.
The only class I have to fully charge the healing pulse for, with potent packs, is a Rhino under 30 HP.
That’s what the word -effectively- means.
Aggressive for what, slaying or filling their role?
KE81 is a well balanced medic card for Phoenix. It has the Hochfir & Selbstadt which are both super low recoil and incredibly accurate with very quick reload speeds, and the Beckhill which is the quickest knife for gibbing people. But on top of that, it has two perks which let him have a stronger healing pulse, and a shorter cool down on his healing pulse. To me it’s a perfectly balanced card between healing and slaying.
Favourite aggressive engineer card for me is KE12 Proxy. Springy and double time, really good for darting around the map like a bunny and reloading on the run without having to slow down. I find it great for fast aggressive objective work.

Potent packs allows you to increase the healing you give. Fore the same amount of charge, you’ll heal more if you have potent packs. This implies that for the same amount of healing you’ll need to charge less your healing pulse if you have potent packs, allowing you to avoid a bit more cooldown.
That’s why the KE81 is so good @onLooSe. The potent packs makes you heal stronger, so you don’t need to charge as long, so it’s basically a cool down reduction. But also having the reduction to the cooldown with extra supplies is a double whammy.
My cooldown with KE81 is rarely any longer than 6-7 seconds because you just don’t really ever need to fully charge it.

can’t agree more. Pity its gen one and I only got it in silver.
As for the medic I can tell you that BL72 Gen 2 Aura is pure insanity. She’s got Springy, Potent Packs and Drilled with Blish. I’m in love with that card.

God I know right? I got it in Urban but I would kill to get that card in Swiss or either Cobalt. I tried so hard before the Gen 2’s came out in fear that it’d go away
Also, 72 would be amazing if PP worked. Currently it still hits for 30 hp/s instead of 36 - at least when I last played Aura a few weeks back. Maybe they’ve fixed it by now.
