Best feature in the update

Good to know when to vote now. :smirk:

(Eox) #3

I have to agree, that’s a decent change.

#4

Until you find out the vote gets re-enabled when you complete an objective.

Probably because the timer extends beyond 4 minutes again. In an objective game the time until the game finishes changes as the game progresses.

At least “Rage scrambling” won’t be a bigger problem now when someone decides his team is losing and the only way to win is obviously start a scramble team vote.

“It’s only unbalanced when my team loses an objective”

Thank god. No more last second team swaps on a stomped match.

(Black) #9

I’m just waiting for casual matchmaking. Once that is implemented I see no reason to keep the shuffle mechanic in.

(Elvisz) #10

Everyone is waiting on the holy casual matchmaking…
I think it’s gonna make a bigger mess then what we have now. and in the end everyone gonna whine that it is broken, and we need a voting system.

I think it’s fully gonna kill ranked ^^

The exit button.

What we need is community servers, and the tutorial to cover proper stuff for Engineers.

We are never going to have match making that works, everyone is going to complain and blame it rather than themselves, cause they want to win, and get the glory, but do none of the work.

(Brain_of_Britain) #14

@neverplayserious I disagree, I think that if people have to queue for a match anyway people over level 7 will think for double credits I may as well play ranked and so it will revitalize the currently dead competitive side of the game.

(neverplayseriou) #15

those credits won’t be more than a normal match if u take into account the insane queue times which will probably even have increased, quite sure some of the people actually playing ranked have already given up since its already down since 27/05.

(SkrubLord) #16

The best feature in this update was that the game isn’t working anymore, so I dont get mad from playing.

(neverplayseriou) #17

best feature is definitely the exit button, what a complete shit patch.

(_retired_) #18

I don’t know you @neverplayserious but I saw you comment one of the threads I was.
Kind of know the corners you hail from and might reach you that way but this will do more easily since I don’t want to be part of this any more. This is only for you.

It’s basically over. With the recent events and this patch particularly they are moving backwards. This has been going all spring.
For a year I tried to convince my friends to play this and I think we could have got pretty decent lineup for the ranked and even for the cups going. We’re talking hardcore csgo veterans with backgrounds on Quake, ET etc.
I tried to get them invested into this game and they tried to play it…
Too many problems. (and they don’t care about moneyprizes etc. but want to play GOOD game)
We could start from shotguns (which are like screaming “PANIC!” for noobs that can’t aim) and finish with endless stream of bugs.
I never played Brink but my friends did and they laughed to me that I believed to this to be any different.

If you think about it that unless person has something wrong with their brain and constantly fooling themselves thinking “it’s not the game, it’s me!” or “git gud!” or “it will get good, just hang on” you cannot honestly logically somehow convince anyone that this game isn’t broken. Idea and mechanics are there but developers are utterly LOST. The whole process is broken, it would insanity think it will somehow magically fix itself so it will just cause endless frustration cycle.

Public matchmaking will be the next disaster as I promise you that servers which you cannot leave, don’t know levels but have to just guess how much experience each team has while noticing that matches are ultimately just bad (most of the maps in public and soon™ ranked will be just burst/shotgun spam + thunder flashes) and imbalanced while you are thrown out of the server because anticheat and when reporting hacker some little blind boy comes to say “I haven’t seen any and there’s nothing wrong, you just have to get good!” <= like these idiots could find their own ahole if they wanted.

There’s absolutely no point to continue.
Maybe if they have had better resources, better management, more transparency etc.
They had their chance and they blew it like Monica Lewinsky.
This was like campaign of Trump (you know, started as joke, continued to buildup, going for the bang) just totally BACKWARDS.

Indiana…Indiana…Let It Go.

@retired That’s why the game is in beta. It’s still changing and fine tuning, and it’s not going to instantly become a good game overnight. You can’t always get everything right in the first try. They say it took Edison 1000 tries to create the lightbulb. I’d gladly take 1000 DB updates for it to reach its true working potential.

[/quote]The process is going backwards. They haven’t done anything worthwhile recently. Beta is bad excuse for that.

IF you really want to wait 500 months (2 updates per month which currently is clearly overly positive outlook) to get there, be my guest.
People have all kinds of believes, i’m not the one that have time to break their illusions neither desire to do so.

Some people leaving the game will probably try it when it comes out fully. After all it’s f2p in design. Everybody can do their own choices. I have no need to make people stop play this game I just don’t have any will based into experiences of this process of development to see this through. There’s time to wait and there’s time to let go.
My message was for Neverplayserious anyways, I have nothing else to add.
Keep it going anyway you want. It’s really your choice.
