there isnt “best merc”
fletchers is bad on defense compared to bushwhacker, and bushwhackers is bad on attack compared to fletcher

and proxy… well… its just proxy! fun to play sometimes but weaker than others

fletcher can be insane on defense if he only has one choke to hold

Oh wow nobody voted for proxy
I don’t know, I prefer proxy because of the (what seems like) huge buff for hochfir with the ridiculously low recoil since I last played.
That combined with the speed + better explosive damage than fletcher, she can hold off a choke and play offensively much more effective than bushwhacker or fletcher.
Mostly just the gun part though, I really like the hochfir now; It goes perfect with the speed.

@terminal the problem begins when skilled skyhammer can kill you in 4 shoots, and that skyhammer wont walk into your mines, and he dont care about your speed

Man I love Fletcher, but I’ve been really enjoying running at sanic speed with a shotgun and watching my enemies fly past my face after they run over my mines.
